Aquarius means 'Water-Bearer', or perhaps more precisely 'Water-Jug', and is an Air Sign. In Greek Mythology Deucalion, son of Prometheus, is connected to Aquarius. His legend has it that, with his wife Pyrrho, he built a boat in which the two survived a devastating flood; the boat was washed up on Mount Parnassus, and from there they repopulated the world. Two things are interesting, the first the link between a Great Flood and Aquarius, since the dating for the sinking of Atlantis is 12,000 years ago, and this would have been ruled by Aquarius. The second is the similarity to the Old Testament 'Flood'.<\/div>\n\n
